MALE VOICE: I guess it was 2003 when I started my consulting business. Sort of a Cinderella story. Put all of my savings into it and landed a huge client right out of the gate and things just kind of took off, you know? I hired myself a staff, probably a little bit early, not that I could see what was coming, but we were growing so fast I just couldn't keep up. You know?
Then the economy took a dive. And eventually I had to file bankruptcy. And I had no idea what to do. I mean filing for bankruptcy as a business is not easy, but I got some good legal advice and actually it wasn't that bad. I mean it's a big deal, don't get me wrong, but it's not the end of the world.
